Is the software really $0?
Yes. The StandScale Business Suite has no licence fee and no per-user charge, however many people use it. You pay for your StandScale Secure VM at actual cost — typically US$340–625 a year plus tax for a typical SMB, depending on provider and contract length — or for your own infrastructure if you run it there, plus any implementation or Waggle work you choose.
Who owns our data?
You do. It sits on your StandScale Secure VM, a private server set up only for your business — or on your own on-premise or cloud infrastructure if you prefer. You can export it whenever you like.
What is Waggle, and why does it need the Business Suite?
Waggle is StandScale’s AI assistant. It runs private language models on your operational data, so it can answer questions like “Who should I chase today?” with real numbers. The more of your work is recorded in the suite, the better its answers.
We already use QuickBooks, Xero or another system. Do we have to switch on day one?
No. We can start alongside what you have, move one process at a time, and keep your accounts where your accountant expects them until you’re ready.
How is this different from hiring an operations manager?
An operations manager still depends on people remembering to update things. With everyone recording their own work in one system, visibility becomes automatic — nothing depends on one person’s memory.
